How did these two people from very, very different beginnings find each other? By way of curiosity and coincidence, both of us ended up in Boston working as researchers at Harvard, where we found that we have much more in common than our differences might suggest. Family, friends, food, laughs, adventures and LOVE most of all...Love binds us. We can’t wait to celebrate our next adventure with you in Detroit at the Parker Pratt Wedding and the Pratt Wilson Sixth Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 20, 2026. Q: How do I find the event?A: Belle Isle is located just east of downtown. Yes, you need to drive. Q: Where should I book a hotel?A: The Pratt Parker Wedding has room blocks at two downtown hotels for June 19-21. The Marriott at Renaissance Center is the official wedding hotel, located about 10 minutes from Belle Isle where the Sixth Annual Pratt Wilson Juneteenth Celebration and Pratt Parker Wedding is taking place. Located in the heart of downtown, the hotel is just steps away from the Detroit Riverwalk, offering fun for the whole family. Detroit's three casinos - MGM, Motor City Casino and Greektown Casino are also within walking distance. You can also reach them via a short ride on the People Mover, Q-Line trolley or ride share. To tour Detroit history, take photos in front of the famous Motown Museum (currently under construction so no entry) or take the Q-Line trolley to the Detroit Institute of Arts in the cultural center just north of downtown. And bring your passport! The Pratt Parker Wedding hotels are just across the Detroit River from Windsor, Canada. Take a short drive through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel (located next to the Marriott) to the Windsor Riverfront, the Sculpture Park and Caesar's Casino and hotel.
